Septodont Septocaine® (Articaine HCl and Epinephrine)

Septocaine® (Articaine 4% HCl and Epinephrine) is indicated for local, infiltrative, or conductive anesthesia in both simple and complex dental procedures. Septodont Septocaine® is the #1 Branded Dental Anesthetic among U.S. dental professionals. Septocaine 1:200,000 is commonly used for most routine dental procedures, whereas Septocaine 1:100,000 is preferred for dental surgery procedures that require increased visualization of the surgical field. Both products provide a predictable duration of anesthesia. Septocaine® and epinephrine provide up to 60 minutes of anesthesia for infiltration injection and up to 120 minutes of anesthesia for nerve blocks. Septocaine® injection cartridges are covered with Mylar labeling to minimize the risk of injury in the event of a breakage. To reduce breakage, Cartridges are packaged 10 to a blister tray to avoid glass-to-glass contact.
